Thanks, interesting numbers. Being a Groovy programmer myself I like the job trends.

Still I think there is never going to be the one single web framework that does it all.

Nice comparison!

A quick note however about the programming model of protocol buffers which you call "is extremely clumsy - I don’t understand what the builder business is all about.". The builder pattern is not something that is Protocol Buffers specific. The pattern itself is described in "Effectiva Java" by Joshua Bloch. I won't go into details but its a bit like the composite pattern and has some advantages over using constructors and/or setter methods.

The apple care plan is a piece of shit. When i bought my mac at the apple retail store in my town, they said do you want apple protection? I asked " what does it cover"? The guy said " everything ". So yesterday i had a accident with my computer at work and the screen completely is cracked and doesn't work?

Guess what? Apple protection will not cover it and i have to pay to have my lcd fixed...close to one thousand dollars...for a lcd mac screen that they dont even make anymore! The mac book pro i have is the previous generation.I was lied to about what it covered so i was suckered into buying it. The sad thing is is that it was bought with a student loan so im think yes i have this great laptop for my design stuff at college and even if anything happens to it they will just fix it. Yea awesome thats worth the 300 dollars or whatever is costs. Thats not the case i was lied to and im not happy about it at all.

Apple protection plan or whatever the hell its called is a waste of money and i would encourage everyone to never buy it and this is exactly why because when it comes down to it no one wants to help you.It was a big waste of money.

Actually there were some bugs in the Safari for Windows initially. Apple had recieved lots of similar type of problems from a numer of users but now all the issues are fixed. Try the latest Safari for Windows, i hope you won't left disappointed this time.

Great summary. A resource I found helpful in exploring this topic is the book Beginning Groovy and Grails From Novice to Professional. It shows several security plug-ins with detailed instructions for use.
